Vineyards:
For the Trossos limited series, Alfredo Arribas concentrates his efforts on producing wines sourced from a collection of old small-lot vineyards located in the neighboring DO of Montsant. Trossos loosely translates as select plots or terroirs, and here, Alfredo seeks to highlight the three distinct soil types of the region: sandy, calcareous and clay. Each parcel is vinified separately, and the aging regimen tailored to varietal and terroir. Organically farmed.
